Our Temporary Cone and Basket Strainers provides economical protection for pipeline equipment which might be damaged by unexpected debris entrapped in the flow.  Durable perforated plate construction is recommended for most applications.  Readily available variations include a fine wire mesh liner or cover.  Where suitable, conical and basket strainers can be constructed entirely of wire mesh.

Basket or Truncated Conical style strainers offer comparable operating pressure drops with a large volume and more surface area than conical strainers of the same length.  Their shorter required lengths allow the use of basket strainers in shorter runs of pipe and where available pipeline is limited.

Standard design for use with raised face flanges or flat face flanges.  Strainers flange fits inside bolt holes.

Standard Temporary Strainer materials are Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.  However, other materials are available upon request.
